Holland, Ohio lies less than 10 miles away from the Michigan border.

The village occupies less than 1 square mile and is bordered by important routes like Angola Road to the north and the Wexford subdivision to the south. Holloway road is to the west and the I 4-75/US 23 expressway lies on the east.

Strawberry Acres Park, a wooded area next to Holland, was donated to the town by the Strawberry Festival Organization, which staged its first festival in 1938. You can also find the Lodge at Strawberry Acres in the park. It is a beautiful venue for receptions, mixers, and reunions. The park also has a playground, walking and jogging tracks, a gazebo, and picnic areas.

Holland lies around 13 miles west of Toledo, the biggest city in the region. The Toledo area has good schools, like the University of Toledo and Lourdes University. Job opportunities in manufacturing, retail trade, health care, accommodation and food services, and construction also abound in the village and its neighboring cities.

The community takes pride in MacQueen Orchards and Farm Market, a great place to buy fresh produce. Holland’s Grape Leaf Diner offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine while New Empire Restaurant will satisfy Chinese food cravings. Another famous bar is Ralphie’s Sports Eatery, the perfect place in Holland to chill with a plate of wings and some beer.
